Financial and Legal

Admission to an Aged Care Home may require complex financial and legal decisions to be made. Prospective residents or their representatives are encouraged to seek professional assistance to understand financial and legal implications. .Sunshine Coast Aged Care Placement can recommend legal and financial services on the coast.

Consultations are usually in the home of the individual but can be arranged in hospital. Weekend and appointments can be arranged.

At consultation, it would be helpful to have the current ACAT summary available. We will need to ask additional questions in relation to care needs, financial position, cultural, religious, dietary, and recreational needs. This allows Sunshine Coast Aged Care Placement to provide a detailed summary to prospective homes and to ensure homes applied for will meet individual needs.

We are a local service and our fees are kept at a reasonable rate. Sunshine Coast Aged Care Placement will explain the fee structure prior to commencement of service.

For further enquires about our service or to arrange an appointment for a consultation, please telephone Amanda Weeks, (07) 5491-4470 or email on info@sunshinecoastagedcare.com.au or complete your registration details online
